Hello Gordon, I am sending you a message hoping you may remember my Mother Elizabeth Fogarty. She came to stay there around nov 1951 ( not too sure of dates, surmising ) She had a baby boy called Henry. M y Mother also spoke fondly of the cammaraderie between the Mothers, even though the conditions were harsh. She said they kept each other going. She also worked 6 or more days a week, whilst Henry will have been looked after at the home. My Mother gave birth to a baby girl whilst living there January 1954 (she never told us who the father was to either child ) I'm hoping that you may remember something as in that same month april 1954 baby Henry was taken ill and she rushed him to Ulton hospital. There he died of pneaumonia. Details are sketchy, but she left shortly after maybe in the same month. There is a marriage liscense dated april29th 1954, which tells me that she married my dad in grief, as she told us when we were older. I am exetremely interested in any photographs that may be available, as there was only one of Henry. We all have that photo, but would be lovely to see if either of them would be on any others, and if anyone remembers anything, would help with the jigsaw. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and hope I hear from you. Wising you well. Bernie Scanlon
